Archbishop Silvano M. Tomasi is the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations and Specialized Agencies in Geneva, Switzerland. He spoke about the role the Roman Catholic Church plays in reconciliation work from the Pope to the parish recently at the WCC Public Hearing on Reconciliation, 19 Feb. 2009.
